Cute Cupcake Recipes

PRINCESS CUPCAKES
First you make your favorite cake or cupcake recipe (you can use a cake mix)
After that is done you  food color your frosting pink (you can use red and it turns it into pink)

For this cupcake you put the frosting on.
 Use a sample size ice cream cone for fairy hat.  Cut tassel for hat from chewy fruit snack rolls.  for wand, roll gumdrop with rolling pin; cut out a star shape with tiny cookie cutter or a knife.  Press gumdrop star onto pretzle stick. 


This cupcake you Top with candy sprinkles and rock candy.  make necklace with edable pearls, pressing into frosting.  Use edible flower candy for necklace charm, adhering with water or a dab of frosting. 


For frogs, attach two small gumdrop halves to large gumdrop for eye's with toothpicks.  Roll yellow gumdrops; cut to resemble crown and attach to large green gumdrop with toothpick.  Using purchased tubes of black and white frosting pipe on eyes.  Using canned pink frosting, pipe on mouth.  Attach two round green sprinkles for nostrils with frosting.  Garnish as desired remove toothpicks before eating.
Top with candy sprinkeles.  To make each crown microwave three yellow colored chewy one inch candies about ten seconds.  Roll or press candies; into a two by six inch rectangle.  Cut notches from one long side to resemble crown points; curve and insert into frosting.  Brush crown with water to attach candy decors.  



BASIC CHOCOLATE CUPCAKES
 2 cups flour
11/4 teaspoons baking SODA
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking POWDER
1 cup hot water
2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa
3/4 cup shortening
11/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla

Bake for 20 to 25 minutes at 350 in a cupcake pan.  Cool and frost.
