This is what it looked like when the power went out!
I recently experienced another casualty while making cupcakes. At school, the 5th grade was putting together a carnival for the rest of the school. One of the things I had to bring was cupcakes.
It was the night before the carnival and the only time I had to make my cupcakes. I got the batter ready and then all of the sudden, the power went out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We had a phone that we can use when the power goes out and we called the people that are in charge of the power and they said it would not be back on until nine o'clock. It ended up that it didn't come back on until 11 o'clock.
My caring mother, at one o'clock in the morning wakes up, bakes the cupcakes, and cools them for me. Thanks to my mother, everything turned out great.
Lolo at DetodounLolo is having a princess birthday party for her daughter who is turning 7. She wanted cupcakes for a birthday treat. So click HERE to see the recipe. I have not tried baking these quite yet. I am going to try to make them this weekend and then I will tell you how they turn out. I am getting the hang of making cupcakes.
